The Founder

Hadeel Alabbasi

Hadeel Alabbasi is the founder of Qanaateer, an institute that specializes in offering holistic and interactive Arabic classes for non-Arabic speakers.

An advocate for the beautiful Arabic language, Mrs. Alabbasi has started a campaign called (Speak to me in Arabic) to encourage everyone to speak Arabic.

She is a writer and has published seven children's books. With a Master's degree in Leadership Development and Coaching, Mrs. Alabbasi offers coaching sessions that help students paint their path towards achieving their Arabic learning.

Sumayya Zaitooni

Sumayya holds a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies from Umm Al-Qura University and a Master's in Educational Technology. With over five years of teaching experience, she brings both pedagogical expertise and administrative insight to Qanaateer. Sumayya has participated in numerous workshops on teaching Arabic to native and non-native speakers, and she is deeply passionate about the Arabic language, always learning alongside her students.

Fatma Muhammad Algamdi

Fatma holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Arabic Language, with over twelve years of experience in teaching Arabic. At Qanaateer, she is known for her clear instruction and deep knowledge. She is certified as a "Khabeer" by the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language and also works as a content writer, blending creativity with her linguistic expertise.

Academic Director

Dr. Mohammad Al-Jarrah

Dr. Mohammad is an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics with sixteen years of experience in Arabic language education. He specializes in Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (TASOL) and leads the academic direction at Qanaateer. He has authored two books and co-authored twelve others across fields such as business, diplomacy, and healthcare. He also led the syllabus redesign for the Arabic Diploma for Non-Native Speakers at King Abdulaziz.

IT Specialist

Somaya Yaser

Somaya Yaser holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from King Abdulaziz University and plays a key role in our team at Qanaateer. With her tech background, she ensures our platform run smoothly and supports the development of tools that enhance the Arabic learning experience. In addition to her work with Qanaateer, Somaya leads Riwaq, a digital project offering virtual tours of historical sites — bringing Arabic heritage closer to people everywhere.
